Nicola Monchy is a half English, half Swedish writer living in France, and an autism advocate at heart.

Nicola writes clear, supportive stories designed to help autistic children and adults prepare for everyday events and special moments. Her goal is to empower autistic people to enjoy life on their own terms – offering strategies, comfort, and reassurance to build confidence in a world that doesn’t always feel predictable.

She also writes for parents and caregivers, helping them better understand and anticipate challenges so they can offer respectful, meaningful support.

Inspired by her own family, Nicola brings warmth, empathy, and real-life insight to every book she creates. When she’s not writing, she works professionally as a translator and copywriter and is a proud parent of two neurosparkly children.

Nicola plans to publish a full collection of stories to support autistic people and the people who love them.
